Moreover, incorporating bamboo in construction reduces energy consumption, environmental pollution and conservation of the world's scarce resources. The article also mentioned that bamboo forests not only play a major role to control water cycles, reduce erosion and carbon from the atmosphere but also act as a readily accessible material for communities to resolve housing issues. The usage of bamboos in construction will improve farmers economically as they are able to develop bamboo plantations and make use of the bamboo shoots for their everyday lives.
